Simon Fletcher

Simon's initial career began at BT as project manager overseeing telecoms projects in Eastern European countries on behalf of the European Commission in Brussels. He conducted a team of specialists to design and implement plans to enhance certain countries’ telecoms infrastructures within a given timescale and financial costing.

Simon's career in the financial world began at Barclays Bank in 1994, where he attained a Financial Planning Manager position for Barclays Bank's subsidiary Barclays Life Assurance Company Limited. Simon advised High Net Worth and Corporate clients on Pension, Protection and Investment planning in Oxfordshire.

In November 2001 Simon was invited to join the St. James's Place Partnership and established his own practice called Rushbrooke Associates Limited, where he enjoyed 8 years working with his co-director Carl Evans. Simon has specialist knowledge to advise his clients on the areas of Investment Planning, Retirement Planning, Inheritance Tax Planning, Mortgage Planning and Commercial Finance.

As of January 2010, Simon decided to go on his own and set up The Fletcher Group Limited where, with his team of support staff and financial specialists, he continues practicing in providing specialist advice in the above financial areas.

Philip Hancox, Wealth Management Consultant

Philip comes to the Practice having worked in financial services for the past 10 years. He gained his experience as an Independent Financial Adviser, Senior Consultant and Partner at three leading Financial Services Companies.

Philip is able to advise you on a wide range of Wealth Management areas including, Pension Planning, Tax Planning, Protection and Investment Planning.

Darren White, Operations Manager

Darren has joined The Fletcher Group in 2018 as the Operations Manager, he has gained over 8 years’ experience leading a customer service department in his previous roles.

Darren’s main objective within The Fletcher Group is to improve and maintain an exceptionally high standard of client experience by effective case management.

His interests include, playing football at weekends and fine dining with his partner.

Jon Willmott, Financial Architect

Jon is a highly technical and qualified paraplanner responsible for every aspect of paraplanning, Jon also ensures that everyone works within the regulatory requirements placed upon them.

Paul Warriner, Professional Connections Relationship Manager

Paul joined the The Fletcher Group in January as the Professional Connections Relationship Manager. He is an experienced business consultant and brings the right relationship skills to the role to build new lasting connections and develop the existing ones.

Our goal is to provide professional introducers a point of contact that keeps them in the loop of referred business and opens up new opportunities for business development and knowledge exchange. Communication is the key to success and staying in touch is all important.

Joanne Jones, Senior PA

Jo joined the team in 2012 bringing with her 26 years experience in Financial Services having worked with both personal and corporate clients.

Her interests include spending time with her children and she also enjoy crafting.

Dasha Billingham, Diary Management PA

Dasha has a lengthy background in customer service which she is very passionate about. Dasha has been with The Fletcher Group since September 2014, originally from Canada, has lived in the UK for over 11 years. Dasha enjoys family time with her two young children.

Jo James, Client Servicing PA

Jo joined The Fletcher Group in 2015, with a background as a PA at Gloucestershire University and Stockport Health Authority. She has been a volunteer with Riding for Disabled for over 18 years and is currently Chairman of a local group.

Alison Newsham, Administrative Assistant

I joined The Fletcher Group in January 2018 having had a varied career in both purchasing, sales, customer service and customer relations. My previous role to this was for a consumer finance company which was where I gained my experience in customer service and customer relations.

I have two grown up daughters and love spending quality time with my family. I am passionate about keeping fit and go to the gym most days and do plenty of power walking with my dog. I also like to take part in charity walks to raise money for great causes.
